There are memorable ads and there are ads which gets us nostalgic, reminds us of doordarshan days:P ,,,i em sure everyone of us has a ton of memories,,,when prime time serials like

hum log,junoon,circus,fauji, buniyaad,malgudi days,nookad hooked us to the idiot box, remember how the whole family timed their dinner and bed time arround it,, then came the dish and now cable n future digital media is making us the masters with the remote, but back in early80s the defination of television wasvery different , every story told in the form of soaps and ADs were memorable as there was no clutter,, i still remember these ads ,,,,,,,,

The ericsson mobile phones ad "surprisingly smooth "where the old man goes to the lady on the next table to join her actually to find out tat she was talking on the phone,,,, surprises me how he did not notice the brick size phone then, ;p,,lol . Sad although bajaj closed down , but do u guys remember the hamara bajaj campaign of 1989,,,,"buland bharat ki buland tasveer" that was a catch ,,to those watching for owning their very own automobile . The 1990 MONTE CARLO "Love the season ,,for monte carlo" ad staring young nasir abdulla,,,,the song" nothings gonna change my love for u"(by Glen Mediros)which was being hummed all over the country,,,."HAR KUSHI MEIN RANG LAYIYE ASIAN PAINTS SE" the 1992 ASIAN PAINTS ,hmmm i love the smell of fresh paint,,,, these ads usually bring about the arrival of festivals on our country and our ad industry has worked its magic,,,,,,,"DUM LAGAKE HAISHA,ZOR LAGA KE HAISHA" starred young raj kumar hirani ,,,,,FEVICOL KA MAJBOOT JOD HAI TUTEGA NAHI,,,i used to love this ad the elephant used to fascinate me a lot,, even today fevicol makes some amazing ads love em still,,,,,COMPLAN,,, remember shahid kapoor and ayesha takiya,,cute na!!!!! I EM COMPLAN GIRL, I EM A COMPLAN BOY,AND WE LOVE OUR COMPLAN MUMMY,,,,,,,,, JALEBEEE!!:) cutie,, dhara ad of the 90s ,,, mai ghar jodh ke ja raha hu, and then ramu kaka comes in and gets the lilltle boy home,,,,,,OMG!!! love that one ,,,i go aaawwwwwwwhhhh when i see it till this day. kuch khas hai, khuch kas hai zindagi mein,kuch khas hai hum sabhi mein, cadburys,,the girl going crazy on the cricket pitch, music by shankar mahadevan,,,,hmmmmmm just a few to take us down the memory lane:)
